India Apostolic Missions Team, October 2006 

Apostle M, one of the elders of Crusaders Church in Chicago and a leader in the IMPACT Network has been taking apostolic teams to northern India for a number of years now seeing wonderful results. Because of political sensitivities and periodic persecution in parts of northern India, the team members and their hosts in India prefer to remain anonymous in this report. This year Apostle John Eckhardt, the Overseer of Crusaders Church was able to travel to India and minister in the conference. He was very blessed to see the results of the ministry of the previous teams that have labored there, and the hunger of the people for the Word of God.

Being a part of the India team really opened my eyes to how important it is to get the Gospel of Jesus to the world. Since my first mission trip to India in 2000, I have been so amazed to witness how the people there thirst for the Word of God. It seems like the more we have taught on the things of God, the more they have wanted.

I have been to India a total of four times and as one of our team members said, “We literally have seen the people change before our eyes toward the things of God.” God has literally broken the false religion and tradition off of their lives. It’s very important to not take lightly what you learn in church because God will lead you one day to the uttermost parts of the world to teach and preach gospel of Jesus Christ.

One of my prayers was for Apostle John Eckhardt to be a witness to the many breakthroughs that have came forth in India since my first mission trip there in 2000.  The people have grown to know us personally since the year 2000 and we always brought with us greetings from Apostle John, Prophetess Wanda and the whole Crusaders church family.  However, I always truly believed that God would answer the prayers of the believers in India we were in relationship with, to one day have the opportunity to meet our leader Apostle John. That answer to our prayers happened this past October when he was our primary speaker for our Northern India Leadership Conference.  This was the first conference of its sort in the region.  Our hosts represented the Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.  Over 400 leaders from these regions and several other states along with a representative from the country of Nepal, attended the conference to hear Apostle John and the team teaching on the Kingdom of God

One of my most vivid memories is how the people laid on the floor praying and travailing at the end of one of Apostle John teachings. I even heard someone say that this was an answer to our prayers. God is doing a great work in this nation and I’m glad that God used us to be a part of it.

I hope you have been blessed as you read this and my prayer is always if you have never been to the nations and you want to go, that you will get your passport because God is going to use you in a miraculous ways. If he can use us he will use you.

The highlight of my first international trip was the people of India and their trust, and love towards God. This probably will always leave a lasting impression in my heart.

I found myself in the midst of a people who didn’t have the knowledge or the resources that we have in America, yet they were doing an apostolic work. They simply believed and grasped the message of the gospel and moved out in demonstrations with signs and wonders following; no office, no title, they just did what the word of God commanded them to do.

They moved out of a servants’ heart in everything they did; and they were so grateful for the impartation from the ministerial team from Crusaders. I stood in awe as I watched them display their gratitude towards the team members, especially Apostle Eckhardt.

They were excited about Apostle Eckhardt’s presence and they viewed him as a “father in the gospel”. I watched them as they wrote down every scripture, praised God with a fervency that was totally refreshing, and even as they bowed in reference to God’s presence. It was awesome.

I was also impressed by the unity and love that was displayed amongst the team members. They knew the people had great expectations from them and they moved out in a spirit of excellence so as not to disappoint the hearts of the people.

I thank God for Apostle John and Prophetess Wanda Eckhardt, our leaders, and the prayers and support of our Crusaders family, because out of it all God has blessed us to start a Crusaders Women’s Ministry in Northern India.

Our goal in the near future is to have an International Women’s Conference in India. The needs of the women are great and I would like to extend an invitation to those women who have not yet been to the nations to come and join us as we take this gospel of Gods’ Kingdom to the women in other nations.

Your visit as a team was very blessed for us, personally, as a family and as a church. Each family could testify that the Lord ministered to them. Dr. John is flying to Germany for his research for two months, just as was prophesized to him. He is so charged up. There are many other testimonies also, such as the husband and wife whose relationship was almost broken, and when the Lord spoke to them and they were restored. We as a family are blessed and God has started fulfilling the prophecies we received.

Pastor D is so happy to see his daughter filled with the Holy Spirit as the team prayed for her. Pastor S has shared that the team was a really joy and a blessing for their church and they were so happy to receive the Word of the Lord. We will be doing follow-up in the areas were we had meetings. Please thank the team on our behalf, for their love, concern and cooperation. We are grateful to them for adjusting to our culture, especially with the dresses, and we never felt that they were from the outside. As the body of Christ we all are one. Our church extends their sincere regards and love towards them.

We are so glad to hear that your Apostle is willing to come to India. Let's wait for God’s time and pray about it. We will be extremely happy to have him with us and we welcome him in the Name of our Lord. We can imagine that if the team is so strong, how much stronger the Apostle will be! We certainly believe that everything depends on the leader.
